About Rooms

Do you have any room recommendations?

Each room has its own unique flavor, and we hope you will find the room that suits you best.
First-time guests often choose the “Yuzuriha” room.

Can I stay with my pet?

We are sorry, but we do not allow pets to stay at the hotel.
If you wish to stay with your pet, we recommend you to stay at one of Fukahoritei sister hotels where you can stay with your pet.

Is there a charge for drinks brought into the guest room?

If you drink during the meals, you will be charged for bringing your own drinks, but not for drinking in your room.

Do you have any equipment available for loan?

Playing cards, Go, Shogi, Othello, and DVDs are available for rent.

About Reservations

I would like to know the check-in and check-out times.

Check-in is from 15:00 to 20:00.
Check-out time is until 11:00.

Can I make a same-day reservation?

We apologize, but advance reservations are required up to one day in advance.
Seats and rooms are limited, so please make your reservations as early as possible.

When can I make reservations for the year-end and New Year holidays?

Reservations for December 25-January will be accepted from 8:00 a.m. on July 1.

About Meals

I would like to know the time of breakfast and dinner.

We ask that breakfasts start at 8:00, 8:30, or 9:00.
For dinner, we ask that the last start time be 18:00-19:30, or 20:00 at the latest.
If you have a preference for the time you would like your food served, we will accommodate you, so please do not hesitate to let us know.

Where is the place to eat?

The restaurant is located in the main house.
Table and chair seating is available.
Room meals are available only in “Nagi” rooms.

Can you accommodate meals allergies?

We will do our best to accommodate you with our ingredients.

Can I bring my own drinks?

You can bring in your own items, but we will charge you a fee for bringing in your own items.
(Please inquire for the amount).

Are you open for lunch?

About Access

About Traffic

I would like to know how to get to Fukahoritei.

From Fukuoka Airport, it is about 60 minutes by car or train.
The nearest stations are JR Nishimuta Station (5 minutes by car), JR Araki Station (10 minutes by car), and Nishitetsu Daizenji Station (10 minutes by car).
The nearest interchange is the Hirokawa Interchange, about 15 minutes away by car.

Do you have a pick-up service?

Guests can be picked up and dropped off at the nearest train station (Ozenji Station, JR Yamuna Station, or JR Arazu Station) from check-in time until 6:00 pm.
Please make your reservation as early as possible as the service may not be available at your desired time depending on availability.

Is there parking available?

There is free parking for about 12 cars. There is no roof.

About the area and sightseeing

Are there any recommended places for sightseeing in the area?

We recommend Yanagawa, Dazaifu, Yame, etc.
Mizuma-no-Eki” is the nearest roadside station. There are stores selling vegetables, fish, meat, and other local foods. (In front of Mizuma Elementary School, 534-1 Takamizuma, Mizuma-cho, Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture)

How long does it take to get to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine?

It takes about 40 minutes by car and 40 minutes by train from Nishitetsu Daizenji Station.

Is there a place to shop nearby?

Convenience store (7-Eleven) is about 5 minutes on foot. By car, it takes about 5 minutes to a supermarket, and within 30 minutes, there is “Yume Town” and “Iwataya”.

Available in the museum.

Is there a place where I can smoke?

All indoor areas are non-smoking. Please use the designated area outside the rooms.

Is room service available?

Yes, we have it.
Beverages are available until 11pm, please consult our staff during dinner for snacks and other items.

Do you offer esthetic or massage services?

We do not have an esthetic salon.
It is possible to request a shiatsu massage onsite (from 6,600 yen (tax included) for 60 minutes, closed on Sundays).

Are there vending machines available?

No, we do not. Additive-free juices and alcoholic beverages can be prepared by room service.

Are the facilities barrier-free?

The hotel is not barrier-free. The building is constructed in a traditional manner.

Are wheelchairs accessible?

You can use the room outside, but basically you cannot use it indoors because it damages the tatami mats, etc.
One wheelchair is available for rent.
